::In The Past::

It started with a woman, as all stories. This one is no different.

In the beginning there was a vampire, Demetrius, and a werewolf, Alexander, who were in love with a beautiful human woman named Arya. Both were just as keen to have her as the other did. What resulted was a fight of a life time. In the time of the final blow, none other than the one they were fighting over came onto the scene. She looked in horror at the two men killing each other. At the end, she saw that they were going to kill each other and ran in the middle of them, killing her on contact.

Distressed about what they did, they didn’t know who had struck first. Naturally they blamed each other. After thirty years of fighting, the last battle between them proceeded again. The fight lasted for days, both inflicting major damage on the other. This time, without someone interfering, Alexander finally killed Demetrius in pure revenge.

What Alexander didn’t know was that Demetrius had a twin brother, a man who was once the peaceful one of the two. He didn’t drink from humans like his brother did, vegetarian of sorts. He wasn’t just a vampire; he was now the last of his race. With the death of his brother, rage like no other built up inside of him. He sought out the devil and made a deal with him. In exchange, he asked for the power to make others of his kind. A vampire army arose and marched against the wolf, his family and his land.

For the wolves, nature is no curse like a vampire’s; Theirs is genetic, passed down from parent to child. Not expecting an attack from the vampires, their entire village was slaughtered in cold blood. So the original battle over one silly human girl extended to the families and eventually integrated with each race’s culture. If there was an attack on a lone vampire, a response would be an onslaught of vampires all around by werewolves; as many as they could kill in a single night. This would happen the same with the vampires attacking werewolves.

So the violence, bloodshed and aggression escalated and affected everyone – lovers, friends – there was no longer any such thing as a werewolf and a vampire being “friends.” With time everyone began to forget the original reason they had started fighting at all. They simply understood that the other race was evil and must be wiped out. Finally it got to the point where they could no longer bear living with each other. Each race separated to their own land, their own part of the island of England. The wolves dominated the south of England while the vampires ruled the north.

::Today::

There is a new trouble rising, though. With the discovery of the vampires and werewolves amongst them, the humans have been gifted with special powers to upset the balance between the races. Witches, elementals, mages and the like have risen up within the human race. Some join the werewolves and serve the Queen to fight the vampires; others join the vampire race in their pursuit to wipe out the entire werewolf race.

Placed in the wilds of England, there are two prominent factions that live in their own castles. The werewolves live in the Werewolf Castle ruled by their Alpha Carman Jones, the Werewolf Queen. The vampires live in their own castle led by the Vampire Prince Daniel Grace.
